Care4You is proud to have Vascular & Stroke Services at PVHMC as our Community Partner!

A Trusted Source for Vascular and Stroke Services

As the first designated heart and vascular center in the region, the Stead Heart and Vascular Center offers a dedicated Non-Invasive Vascular Lab designed to provide specialized vascular ultrasound examinations to the patients of Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center and their surrounding communities. The Vascular Lab utilizes the most technologically advanced non-invasive ultrasound equipment to perform each customized exam.

MayPVStroke

Their vascular imaging evaluations utilize ultrasound, allowing patients to be examined free of the risks and discomfort of injections or invasive maneuvers. Vascular ultrasound examinations provide physicians with quantitative and qualitative information regarding the location, significance, and severity of vascular diseases. These exams also provide diagnostic information and aid in the long term management of various vascular disorders.

Unlike other vascular imaging facilities, at the Stead Heart and Vascular Center, each exam is performed by a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), certified by the national credentialing board of ARDMS, with each exam interpreted by a highly trained Physician.

The Vascular Lab at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center offers inpatient and outpatient services and is open Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm. Their Chino Hills, Grandview Plaza location offers outpatient services with flexible scheduling to meet your convenience. For more information, please call 909.865.9135.

For a referral to one of their quality cardiologists or cardiovascular surgeons, please call their physician referral service at 909.865.9858.

Lilacs & Greensleeves: EZ Living and Swing N Country

LGsmall

Care4You is proud to have EZ Living and Swing N Country as our Community Partners!

EZ Living is the private practice of Katie Gundersen, MS, OTR/L, Occupational Therapist. And Swing N Country is the dance teaching business operated by Katie and her husband, John Watson. These two businesses often go hand in hand by helping local citizens in and near Monrovia maintain their independence and zest for living.

AprilCPPS

Katie, and her husband John, met while on a competition Country dance team. Soon after they married, they began teaching dance together under the name of Swing N Country. Aside from their group classes held at the Monrovia Community Center, they also offer private lessons in their home studio.

They teach American Social Ballroom dances (Fox Trot, Waltz, Rumba, Cha Cha, Night Club Two Step, both East and West Coast Swing.) And they still love to teach Country Two Step and the old tried and true Country Line Dances.

They work with engaged couples on their ‘first dance,’ and have often worked with ‘father/daughter’ as well as the entire bridal party.

They know because of Katie’s Occupational Therapy background, they have been successful teaching many people who were ready to ‘give up’ when they struggled trying to learn to dance. One of their 90 year young students says, “If it wasn’t for dance, I’d be gone by now.”

So check out their website at Swing N Country Monrovia. Contact them at 626 359-1055. Or send them a message at [email protected]

Life is too short not to enjoy it to the best of your ability. EZ Living and Swing N Country will help you stay young, functional, and enjoying life ‘to its fullest.’
